Connecting Google Sheets

A step-by-step guide to linking your supplier data.

Step 1 — Set up your Google Sheet

Your sheet needs two tabs: Suppliers and Products.
Use exactly these column headers (row 1):

Suppliers tab

supplier_id, name, country, region, address, city, postal, website, toms, notes, res_name, res_email, am_name, am_email, accounts_name, accounts_email

Products tab

product_id, supplier_id, name, category, type, currency, base_rate, actual_rate, season1_label, season1_rate, season2_label, season2_rate, season3_label, season3_rate

Step 2 — Publish the sheet

In Google Sheets: File → Share → Publish to web
Under "Link", select the Products tab
Change format from "Web page" to Comma-separated values (.csv)
Click Publish and copy the URL
Paste it into the "Published Sheet CSV URL" field in the sidebar

Note: You need to publish the Products tab as CSV — this is the tab the app reads rates from. The Suppliers tab is read from a second URL (same process, different tab selected). Paste both URLs or just the Products one to sync rates only.

Step 3 — Keeping rates current

Click ↓ Sync Now any time to pull the latest rates. The app caches them in your browser so they persist between sessions. Google Sheets updates are live within a few minutes of saving.

Template spreadsheet: A ready-to-use Google Sheet template with all current suppliers pre-loaded is available — duplicate it and replace with your own data. Contact your admin for the link.
